It's a case that, now a little over a year later is still unsolved. March 25th marked one year since Demetrius Kendrick lost her son, La Terry Kendrick.

Kayla, can I have you start by telling me about this portrait or this mural that Demetrius Kendrick had painted in her living room?

Yeah, so to start, thank you for having me.

First off, Demetrius Kendrick is the mother of Latari Kendrick.

He was a 24-year-old that was shot and killed last March,

so March 2020, and he was her only son. So after he died, she actually decided to ask a family

member to paint a mural of him, and it sits in her living room.
