0:34.3	24-year-old La Terry Kendrick was shot and killed.
0:41.0	It's a case that, now a little over a year later is still unsolved. March 25th marked one year since Demetrius Kendrick lost her son, La Terry Kendrick.
0:48.0	He was shot and killed in the parking lot of a convenience store on Houston Avenue.

1:10.3	Kayla, can I have you start by telling me about this portrait or this mural that Demetrius Kendrick had painted in her living room?
1:18.5	Yeah, so to start, thank you for having me.
1:21.6	First off, Demetrius Kendrick is the mother of Latari Kendrick.
1:25.6	He was a 24-year-old that was shot and killed last March,
1:30.6	so March 2020, and he was her only son. So after he died, she actually decided to ask a family
1:40.9	member to paint a mural of him, and it sits in her living room.
1:44.7	My stepbrother is an artist, and he's from Columbus, and he just came over, and he said,
