Let’s go back, back to the beginning. Back to where the earth, the sun, the Stars Hollow all aligned (2003’s ”Let the Rain” by Hilary Duff anyone?) This week’s bonus episode is VERY exciting. We’re taking you back to March of 2022, when we recorded our very first Gilmore Revisited recap episode about the pilot of Gilmore Girls. But before we dive into the pilot episode we all know and love, we’re dissecting the parts of Gilmore girls that didn’t make it to air — including an early revision of the pilot script filled with dialogue, storylines, and even characters that never made it to Stars Hollow. 0:22.4	Girlies again. Remember the times when we used to release an episode on Tuesdays and Thursdays
0:27.4	when we lost our minds? What? Well, we used to do Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Oh, my God.
0:33.2	What a time? Crazy. What is stressful time to have that many episodes? We had lost our minds. Yeah, we're back on
0:40.7	it. We have a lot going on lately. We do. And we've been releasing some Thursday episodes for you
0:45.5	guys. Just a little bonus content. We're really excited about today's episode because this is an
0:50.1	episode we actually recorded about three years ago. We're coming up on the three year anniversary
0:53.6	of our Patreon journey. We started on Patreon with Gilmore Revisited back in April of 2022.
1:00.3	And it is just about April now of 2025. And our very first episode, of course, we started with the
1:06.2	pilot when we were doing our rewatch. And where else would you start? I mean, where else would you
1:10.2	start? But what's really cool about this show, as many of you know, is that there's an unerred
1:14.6	pilot of Gilmore Girls that contains a lot of footage that made it into the aired pilot,
1:19.1	but also has a lot of scenes that were shot with actors who did not end up making it to be
1:24.9	the characters that they were playing originally, like Alex
1:27.5	Borstein playing Suki St. James and Nathan Wetherington playing Dean Forrester, and they reshot some
1:33.2	other things because of that. But it's very cool to watch that. I loved mostly, though,
1:38.6	that we went into it thinking we were going to talk about the pilot with a little bit of a history
1:42.0	about the unaired pilot. But for me, in doing research, I ended up uncovering a pilot script that included characters
1:48.0	that we never ever got to meet, not even people that were recast.
1:52.1	But characters that genuinely didn't exist in the pilot.
