I was sitting with a man who really needed help, and I said, let's start with the beginning.

And I started talking to him about receiving Christ into his life as his savior.

And Lord, he said, stop back during the Korean War.

I was in a foxhole.

And I thought I was going to die.

And I prayed. And I've taken care of that

now, it's okay.

So I kind of scratched my head, and I said, let me ask you this.

Have you prayed ever since?

He said, every time I get in a jam, and I go to church when I can.

And that's the problem that sadly he's not alone.

You see, there are many people go to church for years, and they may even have heard the gospel,

but they're not saved.

There are church members who are not saved.

See, they have never known what it is to live in intimacy with the Lord.

They never know what it means to love and be loved by Him.

They don't know what a joy of fellowshiping with Jesus day in and day out moment by moment.

These folks opted for a form of Christianity, not the reality of it. And sadly, they go
