The much discussed coaching draft. That's what we're doing today on Stealing Bananas.

A lot of year-end reflection post coming from me.

I was just working on one with me as always. Is Sean Siegel. You can find all of his great work over at Road of Viz. Sean, I was just working on one. We didn't have it necessarily a set time scheduled or getting into the offseason. Our cadence is going to shift up. We haven't talked in two weeks. two weeks ago we did the playoff team draft. We went for two and a half hours. Hopefully that kept people engaged over the holidays and gave us a break for not recording last week. We had so much fun doing that. We decided we're going to do the other draft that we've been talking about that was requested of us, the head coach draft because we talk about the Carolina Panthers, baby, just like I said.

Panthers made it. The Steelers made it. You also had me on that. The Ravens, I mean, the Steelers did everything of their power to come back and blow that, lose it to the Browns and everything else. But the Steelers won it. You got that one as well. you said that several weeks ago that the Steelers were going to run away with that division

in week 18 but we uh yeah we it was it was uh it's something we love to talk about on the

sunday night shows the the coaching stuff it was sort of requested of us we didn't have a time set for this. And I was working on a

post and we were texting and you have been waiting on me for the last half hour. Just before we

came on, we were just talking a little bit. And we decided to just hit record. We'll talk

through this on the show. But because we were starting to talk about the coaches a little bit.

I was sharing with you some stuff that I've been seeing on the coaching news front and on social.

We have the coaching carousel this week, which is why this is such a fun topic.

We'll talk about the coaches that we thought did a good job, the ones that we think were maybe unfairly maligned.

I was talking to you about seeing a subset of Dolphins fans that can't fathom Mike McDaniel being brought back because I think he did a good coaching job, but I couldn't get anything out of you. You had this poker face over there. And I realized that as I've been making you wait for the last 20 minutes as I worked through this post that I've been working on and was late seeing your text. You said to me,

you've been using this 20 minutes well. All you gave me was at Mike McNeil's in your top 20. So you

have a ranked list. I come into this, Sean, blind. I know who my top pick is and that's about it.

We talked about it recently and I went through the teams and I kind of made a loose group in my head at that

time of who I think are the best coaches but that was a month ago or more you've got a list

over here I'm about to get dominated in this coaching draft but how are you doing how are the

holidays how is everything good good you're like you had one more word there.
