If you have a Bible and I hope you do, the beauty of the gospel, the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we've got together to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christianity. This is what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

Psalm chapter 67.

February 5th, 2006. February 5th 2006 was my second Sunday preaching in this church. I was just filling in at that point

and I preached a sermon. in this church, I was just filling in at that point,

and I preached a sermon on this psalm entitled The Ultimate Disconnect.

And the reason I preach this song is because it quite possibly more than any other chapter in the Bible

has shaped my understanding of my life and my family and God's purpose for all of our lives in this world. I'll never forget the place where I was sitting. I can picture it in my mind when I first heard this psalm taught. And the way God used this Psalm to turn my life in a totally

different trajectory. I can't over-emphasize the impact this this Psalms had on my life.
