Carrying Venezuelan flags and wearing white t-shirts,

thousands of people took to the streets with one message.

We're here to defend our vote.

We are not secured anywhere.

We are not, we have no safety. This cannot be a secure and independent country I don't shy away from calling it what it is. Far right thuggery. To those who feel targeted because of the color of your skin or your faith.

I know how frightening this must be.

I want you to know that this violent mob do not represent our country.
