People really struggle with their family. They struggle with judgment. They struggle with expectations

And I think that too many people are combative especially young people

But young people come in a lot of forms, you know 72-year-old mothers still shitting on 57-year-old daughters, right like all that life like

You know if you know let's use 2020 as an

An opportunity just like to rethink life like if you are still in a place where you hold resentment or anger

struggle with the judgment or feedback of family and relatives

Let's just take a step back. Hey

Anybody in your family from your mom and dad down that shit on you or trying to make you feel bad

They're hurting themselves. Misery loves company, right?

Like instead of combating and being mad at them, which is something I understand

It's really hard when you're a child of bad parenting behavior

But maybe just this year just this year when they come at you instead of getting into the cliche fight

Instead of rolling into your parents home and needing to grab a bourbon or a glass of wine because you know what you're about to get into

Maybe just this one year

You know in the words of Missy Elliott though. I'm not gonna get it right instead of just like combating it and fighting it
