Chris, you and I will be previewing and ranking those games and then talking about a couple matchups

That's OpenFlorgmail at gmail.com. Before we begin, an obvious caveat must be said that due to health and safety protocols and how fluid they've made who is and isn't available from game to game over the past couple weeks,

we'll be doing our best to talk about games that won't be played for another 72 hours while trying to project who as of this recording is and is not likely to play on Christmas.

So just want to get that out of the way and now that we have an excuse to be totally wrong about everything that we say going forward, Chris,

I want to begin, this is an OpenFlorg tradition where we kind of rank and preview the Christmas Day games.

We did an episode you and I before the season began when we first got the schedule where we kind of went through and ranked these five games based on our anticipation

and we're going to do the same thing right now. I think things have definitely changed for a lot of reasons on how excited we are for each of these games.

But why don't we kick things up with you telling me, I guess the game that you're least excited about for Christmas Day?

Yep, I can't remember what I said in that last podcast that we did. I can't remember what I said about one or two of the matchups and one of the things that I was really worked up about.

I want to say that the Nick's Hawks one, when it was scheduled, first of all I remember being really low on the Hawks relative to most people this year. Secondly, I remember saying I understand why the league is choosing this one, but I don't know if it would, you know, I get that we're really desperate to have a rivalry in the NBA again, which we don't have.

But saying, man, you know, the Hawks just kind of beat the breaks off the nicks and the playoffs. So I know that there is, you know, the interplay between Trey Young and the MSG fan base.

But I mean, you're looking at a couple of teams that haven't played particularly well this year. The Hawks have been better as of late. You know, they had a rough start to the year.

But we're also looking at situation where these are two teams that I think the Hawks are still below 500 that are below 500.

And both of them are dealing with outbreaks on their teams. So, you know, including Trey Young, by the way. So like if Trey Young is among the people that's not going to play potentially, you know, you take Trey Young out of that Hawks Nicks MSG equation and my interest level is basically zero.

Because, you know, it's just a, I don't want to watch two teams that are like on the outside of the playoff race right now.

Outside of the top 10 spots play in a Christmas day game. So it was always a little bit of a gamble.

It's obviously no way to know that Trey Young would be missing the game. He might not miss it. But I'm not excited about that game.

I mean, it could be interesting, but I'm just not excited about it right now. Not so mention that there are other guys from each of those teams that are out aside from just Trey.
