Summary

in this episode Carl argues that that giving reparations to black Americans would be detrimental and not beneficial. Furthermore there’s no way to determine who would be entitled to reparations given historical facts. Such as: 1) Slavery was universal amongst all people in the world, including Africans, Native Americans, Chinese, Brazilians, Arabs,Spanish, Dutch, the Portuguese and more; 2) Virtually all of the enslavement of Africans occurred at the hands of other Africans; 3) Slavery existed for a short time in America given the history of slavery and in limited locales; 4)Only 5% of Americans have any generational connection to slavery, most ancestors of whites here today arrived as immigrants after the Civil War; 5)It’s a myth to say that slavery made America wealthy; 6) Slavery was brutal, cruel and evil but not genocidal; 7) Hollywood’s movie “The Woman King” starring Viola Davis, is a fabrication. The Dahomey tribe actually sold other Africans to European and Arab slavers for profit and more.

Welcome to this Tuesday edition of the Carl Jackson Show Podcast, your daily dose of

0:13.5

objective truth in the world of confusion and lies. Today, I want to talk to you about

0:17.9

the, I want to dive in reparations. There's all type of news happening and we'll say

0:22.4

that news. I'll be selling sitting in for the officer. Tatum, do you out the entire

0:27.1

week and also in for Dr. Gorka Lord willing on Friday as well. So I'll get to a lot of the

0:33.0

news of the day in those programs that I sit in for. But this week I wanted to take time

0:39.2

between Christmas and the new year to focus on some issues that the left always try to throw

0:45.0

at us. And I think we need to start fighting back against one of those being reparations. And

0:49.8

that's what I want to talk about today. This is going to be your ultimate anti-reporation

0:54.4

podcast. All right. So I want you to brace yourself for this. I want you to take notes down because

0:59.5

I don't want any of you buying into this white guilt nonsense or I don't want any of you buying

1:04.6

into this idea that reparations are going to be going to be good for black people. reparations

1:09.5

in the United States of America. First off, they've already happened in the via affirmative action

1:16.0

in academia, via racial quotas when it comes to corporate America. So we've already seen

1:24.2

reparations at play, if you will. And that hasn't worked. The left continues to be mad,

1:29.4

particularly black leftists continue to be mad. And I would argue that reparations is bad for

1:35.0

blacks on a number of fronts. All right. One, it keeps blacks mad at people who didn't oppress

1:41.4

them, who didn't oppress us. All right. And I think I'm a Christian. I believe that that's a sin.

1:48.8

Harboring animosity, harboring ill will. Now that isn't to say that at times people do

1:54.0

wrong you and they shouldn't be brought to justice. That's a different issue. But harboring hatred

1:59.3

for an entire race of people based upon history that you didn't play a part in is a sin in my opinion.
