While today we're mostly in oil and gas we increased the proportion of our

global annual investment that went into our lower carbon and other

transition businesses from around 3% in 2019 to around 23% in 2023.

As Parliament returned on Monday, the government seemed determined to hit the ground running

with a series of policy announcements, some of global significance.

In his first appearance as Foreign Secretary in the House of Commons,

David Lamy addressed an issue that he campaigned on in opposition.
