0:45.0	phenomenon and disclosure. When I first started this podcast 18 months ago, Disclosure was moving
0:51.6	along, but progress was slow. There were brief periods of activity followed
0:55.9	by long stretches of silence and waiting for some new breadcrumb to drop. At one point,
1:01.7	Lou Elizondo said in response to the frustration in the community, among those who were
1:06.2	closely following the story and anxiously waiting for some kind of meaningful development,
1:11.6	that the best move might be to go and find something else to do for five years and check back in. So at the time,
1:17.5	focusing on the day-to-day developments of the disclosure movement on the podcast just didn't
1:21.6	feel like a great use of our time. But over the last year, we've seen some stunning
1:26.8	developments, including the passing of robust
1:29.3	whistleblower legislation and the first public congressional UFO hearings in over 50 years.
1:35.3	And coming into 2023, things seem to be really gaining traction.
1:40.3	In fact, in February, after a bizarre string of events involving unknown objects being
1:46.1	shot down in U.S. and Canadian airspace, the president got on TV and told the American
1:51.6	people that this issue is being taken seriously by the White House and that he is being
1:56.1	regularly briefed on issues related to UAP.
1:59.9	That alone is an undeniable sea change in the approach
2:03.2	to the phenomenon and seems to indicate a shifting of the center of power on this issue behind
2:08.4	the scenes. So while it's impossible to know when or even if we might get meaningful disclosure
