1:02.8	Idris Ali is a Reuters foreign policy correspondent covering the Pentagon and has been following
1:07.5	this story. Hi, Idris. Thanks for being with us. Thanks for having me.
1:11.3	Has the US been looking for Iman Al Zawiri since the September 11th, 2001 attacks?
1:17.4	Yeah, so they have really actually been looking for him even before because he was basically
1:22.4	responsible for the attack on the USS Cold Warship in Yemen. In 2000, he was indicted for the bombings
1:29.8	and the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. So even before 9-11, he had a long list of charges
1:36.2	and accusations. But really, he came to the forefront after Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011.
1:41.8	And he, at that point, took over for Al Qaeda. And since then, he's basically been public enemy
1:47.6	number one. As far as the terrorism list goes, there was a $25 million bounty on his head.
1:52.3	So really since then, he's been the one they've really been looking out for in Afghanistan and
1:57.7	Pakistan. Idris, it was almost a year ago that the US withdrew from Afghanistan. And President
2:03.2	Biden did vow at the time to combat terror groups from afar. Does this make good on that promise?
2:09.9	You know, it's interesting because when the US withdrawal from Afghanistan took place last year,
2:15.7	there was some real doubt about how the United States could keep an eye on Al Qaeda and other
