The UK has no credible plan to fund its armed forces in the future.

Yeah, US politicians have been becoming increasingly frustrated, haven't they? What they see as

NATO allies getting frugal when it comes to their spending on defense.

So a worrying report from British politicians today on the state of the Ministry of

Defence's finances. The BBC's James Wickham has that one.

Lawmakers accuse the MOD of a lack of discipline in budgeting, delays in defence procurement

and the failure to cancel projects it can no longer afford.

Although the deficit over the next 10 years is forecast to be around 21.7 billion US dollars,

the committee warns the actual figure could be 37.1 billion.

The MOD insisted it was significantly increasing spending on defence equipment

and the armed forces stood ready to protect the UK and play a leading role in NATO.

And Hong Kong's Hangs saying closed up just around three quarters of a percent today.

That was despite some unease from international firms that the

Hong Kong's legislature has been debating a draft national security law

that critics say would further reduce freedoms in the

territory one I'm sure we're going to keep watching on the program.
