The format of this show, if you're new here, I've never read it before. It's gonna be crime. It's gonna be true.

See what the genre is? True crime. We're gonna explore it together. It's gonna be a fun time. I mean, it's probably not because there's gonna be murders.

So, yeah, do all that with you. Well, let's jump in.

It's the middle of May 2008. Just outside of Perisberg, Virginia, where a wild land known as Dismore Creek sits along the edge of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest and draws visitors from all across southwestern Virginia.

There's a place actually called Dismore. Can you imagine being the real estate agent who's trying to sell houses in Dismore Creek? That's got to be miserable because people are being like, it sounds a bit sh-t.

It does sound lovely actually. It's like between these two national parks and all that stuff. That sounds really nice. It's called Dismore Creek. Does anyone really want to live in some way called Dismore?

Does Dismore mean the same in American? It means it's like, it's just crap in English.

Despite its name, Dismore Creek and the lush forests that surrounded us stunningly beautiful wild turkeys and roughed grouse.

What the f- is a roughed grouse? Rome the area and steep layered rocks guide the runoff from the nearby flat top mountain into thin, shimmering waterfalls.

So I'd take it all back. Dismore Creek actually sounds amazing.

These waterfalls drain into pools and streams that are filled with the brim with large lively rainbow trout that are just waiting to be caught by a dead fisherman.
