Well our 21 yearold granddaughter was killed by a drunk driver.

He had six previous DUIs in California before moving to Texas.

He was able to get a license in Texas because his DUIs didn't show up here

and apparently the DA

Okay. And this guy, his trial is just now beginning, it's two years later, it's 25 months later.

I mean, how much of a trial, how much prep do they need?

Well, in the state of Texas, we were told they have up to 13 tries for it has to go to trial and you figure there's two to three months between each one of those

rise and the defense has up to 13 tries before it goes to trial.

What are you talking about hearings or what are the tries?
