Welcome to the Tudor Dixon podcast. I want to talk about something that happened in the election that you all heard about. You heard about suddenly Donald Trump in the election getting Muslim and Arab support, Arab American support in the state of Michigan. And this is kind of like a shock to people. They're like, wait a minute, wait a minute. This group has historically gone with Democrats, but it's been slowly changing.

So if you weren't paying too close of attention, it changed a little bit in 2016, more in 2020.

0:31.2

Then we saw a bigger switch over in 2022.

1:31.5

And Mayor Bozzi, you also endorsed Donald Trump during the campaign, didn't you?

1:36.4

Yes, I did.

1:37.6

And I'm proud to have done the endorsement.

1:41.5

And I'm really grateful with the results.

1:44.6

Well, we are grateful with the results, too, but I know that it wasn't easy.

1:49.2

And I know that it continues to not be easy because there's always going to be a push for

1:54.1

certain communities to go back to the Democrat Party and anything that happens in Washington,

1:59.3

D.C. I know you hear about it on a regular basis,
