Hey everyone, welcome to the Tudor Dixon podcast. As you know, I talk about Michigan a lot because obviously I'm in Michigan and I really feel like Michigan is going to be the deciding factor in tomorrow's election. I can't believe we're already here. We are already at Election Day. It's like so exciting. I feel like this has gone on for 10 years. I honestly feel like we have

0:21.2

been watching this race go on for years. Well, we technically have been watching it for years.

0:27.1

But tomorrow is the day, and that's why I wanted to bring someone who we saw on social media,

0:32.7

and I thought, what an interesting story. Her name is Monica Ross Williams. She is a lifelong Democrat and a former

0:39.8

Democrat elected official. As I read her story, I'm like, if you're in Michigan and you read the

0:44.9

story, I mean, she has worked with Jocelyn Benson, who is our secretary of state. She has worked

0:49.5

with Dana Nessel, who is our attorney general. She has been invited by Gretchen Whitmer to meet a few different

0:56.5

times. I mean, this woman has been heavily involved in the Democrat Party and loyally involved

1:03.5

in the Democrat Party, but recently feels like that party has changed. And she is a Bobby Kennedy fan. As you heard from one of our one of our

1:14.0

podcast last week when we had Zachary Levi on, he is also a Bobby Kennedy fan. And that's what

1:19.3

moved him over into the Trump category. And I think that's what we're going to hear from Monica

1:24.0

today. So without further ado, I want to welcome Monica Ross Williams into the

1:28.1

program. Monica, thank you. Thank you. I just want to say it's literally an honor and a pleasure

1:33.0

to be here today with you, Tudor. Thank you so much. I mean, reading your story, I want,

1:38.4

I want to know what moved you because we keep being told like the the Democrats in Michigan are dug in. They're

1:47.6

very hardcore on the and this this is a decision you made a couple of years ago. So yes, I think that

1:53.9

was a really hard time to make this decision because in 2022 we know there was abortion on the ballot.

1:59.6

There was a heavy like you've got to be loyal to the Democrats and loyal to women.

2:04.1

So what made you say something's off?

2:07.2

It started really with me in 2020, 2021, 2020 during the COVID, as I like to call it, the COVID madness.

2:17.8

That's what I feel like it was.

2:19.5

I believe that there was a lot of psychological manipulation that went on during COVID to try and make people basically fall in line with what it is that were mandates, quote, quote,
