Tudor, I'm so thrilled to be on with you.

This is a great week for small business and to celebrate all the contributions.

And I know you're a small business person yourself. So it's really an honor to be talking to you.

That's right. So it is National Small Business Week. And Kelly was in Michigan this week, which makes me super happy.

And I wanted to ask you all about this because you're right. I do come from

small business. We had a family foundry here in the state of Michigan. And obviously,

it's very important to me that our small businesses thrive because I think 90% of the economy

here in the state of Michigan is based on small businesses thriving. And they have suffered

under this economy. So what is the message to

small businesses right now? Well, look, here's what they suffered under. Joe Biden's crushing

inflation that cumulatively drove price levels up 21 percent, the worst inflation in at least four or five decades, if not ever. So you think about

starting from there, small businesses dealing with that. And then the massive regulatory push

that the Biden administration did a lot of damage over four years. Green New Deal in particular,

it was DEI.

There was always some new virtue signal
