Welcome to the Tudor Dixon podcast. I'm excited today because we have Sage Steel with us. She is the host of the Sage Steel show. And the last time I saw you was in Grand Rapids. You were just mentioning that before we went live. And that is because you were here for the last Trump rally, which is we hear not the totally last Trump rally, but it was the last one of

the campaign, which was in Grand Rapids, it's a tradition. And it was wild, wasn't it?

Oh, my gosh. I was, I was in awe. And I had obviously never been to the prior rally in Grand Rapids,

and I know it is tradition. And I walked in and I'm like, okay,

it's one in the morning. There's no way people are going to be awake for this. It was jam-packed.

The energy was incredible. I got to see Tudor Dixon stand up and wave like Miss America.

It was really so cool, like, unforgettable experience for me.

Well, you know, we were talking about it before that day when we were going in, because remember, he came to Grand Rapids after the first assassination attempt, too.

So we had been at that rally, and it was just as packed.

It was just as much energy.

It was like, wow, this is a real movement.

It's a different movement. After the assassination attempt, I think people were like, things just got

real in a way different level. And they were not going to even so much a step away from him.

It was like the support in Michigan was unreal. And that to me

was really interesting because we're a swing state. And I would say to the people in the office,

think about it. If you were in a swing state, you would never see a rally. You know, people don't come

and try to get you to come out and vote if you're not in a swing state. But Michigan was such a strong swing state that in 2020, it went to the Dems.

In 22, it went to the Dems.

And we really thought, you know, Gretchen Whitmer had this incredible power here because she was considered a frontrunner to take the seat.

Kamala ended up having.

And we just didn't know how it would go, but that was electric. And I was so happy to see the results on election night.

I was too. I will say, I didn't trust your state. I know. Because of past history. And so I'm like, okay, I hear it's the great crowd there. I hear there's so much passion. There is a good core base of
