So a lot of times we talk about different subjects but to me this one is really important.

I saw an article in Michigan a few weeks ago about bees and how important bees are and

to me I think this is something that I know very little about that is a very important

part of my life.

And so I wanted to bring on the assistant professor who was quoted in the article.

Her name is Megan Millbreath.

She works at Michigan State's Entomology Department and is the coordinator for the Michigan

pollinator initiative.

Megan, thank you so much for coming on and talking to us about this because like I said,

I am afraid of bees but I think they're very important and I want you to help me understand

why I shouldn't be afraid of them and what we need to do to keep them safe.

So in your article you had some really interesting points and one of them sort of freaked me out

to be honest because it said you have to be really careful about what kind of pesticides

that you're using even in your yard.
