I grew up in South Louisiana where I'm from.

It's not uncommon for a person to leave their home and then build their house on the property

that their parents' home is also on.

Just very family-oriented, but I was a single mom at the time.

And I did not have a good relationship with her biological father.

We actually broke up two weeks before I found that I was pregnant.

He was not interested in having a child.

So the day that I met my husband was a really cool day.

I remember as soon as I saw him, I had butterflies in my stomach and thought, oh my gosh, he really

is so cute.

And I asked him out on a date.

And he said, awesome, awesome, over and over again, awesome.

And so we actually had coffee that night.

I told him at that time that I had a little girl and he wasn't scared of that.

And I was scared of that because he was my first relationship after having her.

I don't know, it just kind of seems like maybe somehow I would be unattractive or like

I had baggage, you know?
