Well, Rebecca, it's great to have you on this show. We know each other, but this is the first time you've been on, so I really appreciate you making the time. Thanks for having me. Good to

do it. Okay, so Rebecca, we were talking before we started, and I guess where I am right now on things with Iran is I understand the justification for why we did it. Obviously, Iran's a threat. They've been a threat for decades now. So I'm not against what we've done. But I worry, like it feels like we're at a stalemate, and I don't know how to resolve that.

I guess what are your thoughts on that?

And do you share the same sentiment?

Or I guess where do things stand now from your perspective?

So I completely understand that view and that sentiment.

I mean, I think the way I view it is the first thing is I think how President Trump views this. It's very

different than what we've seen in previous presidents. He's he's not, he sometimes uses rhetoric like

we're going to solve the Middle East. We're going to have peace in the Middle East. It's kind of

hyperbolic. But his objective.

Yes. Yes. But his actual objectives are pretty scoped and limited, I think.

And it's the way Trump kind of operates is he's perfectly happy to figure out what we can get done with the least amount of risk and call it a day.
