And it's got my brain whirring.

Who is the next midfield superstar?

Could they attract any winter drama?

Assela Ogo is, in my opinion, underlining, the tag that he is the most outstanding German talent, period.

If he stays fit and continues to play like this, Watson will go to an elite club for at least £100 million. Like, he's that much of a special unicorn player. I'll put my neck out. I think that Victor Froholt is going to be an absolute world-beater. Elliot Anderson could be the next 100 million pound midfielder. He just seems to adapt to whatever he comes into. Ken and Yildes, a superstar in the making. He's got, I think, the highest ceiling out of Syria, where you can look at that guy and be like, that guy, five years down the line, is one of the household names that every soccer fan knows. Yes, hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of The Truth. I'm your, Sam Tye. You already know that because one, you can hear my voice. And two, the teaser at the top of the podcast was 45 minutes shorter than whenever Doogie Critchley does it. Speaking of, hello, Dougie. It was a long one last week, wasn't it? And the last one you did was even longer. Short and snappy, that was the directive. Short and snappy. He writes an article out and then reads it. I failed on that last week, didn't I? Yeah, it was quite long. I am good. My spirits are increasing as the hours pass that I get away mentally and spiritually from what went down at Craven Cottage at the weekend in another truth derby between Sunderland and Fulham. Sunderland were atrocious. I didn't think Fulham were great, but they were significantly better. It was a miserable performance from Sunderland and a little bit troubling because we've got a difficult run, as I keep on saying. But yeah, Jack's side took us to the cleaners. Yeah, we'll dig into that in a moment. But before we do that, first of all, back in the studio this week, we were not in the studio last week. The schedules just would not align, which of all the weeks for that not to happen, the international break is bizarre. That couldn't happen. Like if I was ever going to back a week where we'd all just be available. You are a father, though. Sure, blame the kid. Blame the kid. But we are back. And let's introduce our producer, Morgoth himself, the first Dark Lord. And the primordial source of evil in these parts, it's Jack Collins. Thank you, Sam. Always a pleasure. I've always saw myself as an elf, really. But actually, you know, I'll take a fallen elf, if you will.

2:20.8

Yeah, how are you?

2:21.5

I'm all right, man.

2:22.3

I'm all right.

2:32.9

I just got back from, I just got back from Portugal. So I actually wasn't at the cottage to witness our win. but I did go and see Porto against Sintrenza in the fourth round of the Tassad of Portugal,

2:38.2

which, you know, makes up for all of the losses of not being there for one of Fulham's very few victories to see.

2:40.0

There might be a couple more. You don't know that.

2:44.8

You never know. It's good to see you turn the corner, likewise. It felt a bit like it, right?

2:49.5

Like I'm sure there were plenty of Sutherland fans who had complaints about the refereeing,

2:53.7

although I think that actually it's best to clear the old wood from your eyes before you start complaining about the forest. I'm pretty sure that's not the analogy. But, yeah, like, Phillam weren't great. I actually agree with Doogie, but we were much better than Sunderland who just really didn't turn up. And you know what? In those conditions, I was expecting a Sunderland mask class.

3:08.4

With that blackout kit, I was like, oh, this is business. This is smart. And I don't know, I don't know what happened in the international break, but Sondon, not other races. And a much needed three points. So thank you, Dugie. I do appreciate it. You could tell Dugie was really annoyed about this because he decided to take issue with Enzo Le Fay's all black look, which I thought was awesome.

3:29.7

He looked so sleek.

3:31.7

And you were like, hate it.

3:33.5

And that's how I know that the whole day was just miserable for you, because you could take issue with even the best part of Sunderland's performance, which was Enzo looking awesome. I think we were discussing this on Sunday morning when I was a bit sad, a bit hungover, and probably just still a bit wet inside and out. I mean, inside being wet, sounds a bit weird, but whatever. It poured on us in the away end. I don't really like gloves on a footballer. Personally, I don't really like tights on a footballer. footballer. What about short sleeves and gloves? Yeah, that's slightly better. I just, I just I didn't love it as a look. But to be honest, Enzo Le Fay was not the biggest issue. He actually seemed like one of the few players that was up for it. Actually, and I've given him so much praise this year, Granite Jacket wasn't great and neither was Siddiqui alongside him.
