In this election cycle, there are so many voices crying out from both sides of the spectrum.

In the media, opportunists, pundits, and they're all crying out and saying that unless candidates for political office, including the presidency of the

United States, let up on the so-called social issues, they will have no chance of being

elected to office. Their argument goes this way. We are in deep financial trouble.

Are they kidding?

That's not even half of it.

And since we are in deep financial trouble,

we need to focus on the economy and forget about the so-called social issues. Now here's the fallacy of their argument.

By social issues, they mean the murdering of babies in their mother's womb and the acceptance

and the promotion of homosexuality as the norm, among other things. These are the two issues they always pick on.

First, these are not merely social issues. They are moral issues. Secondly, it is our departure

from biblical morality that brought us in the mess that we are in to begin with.

Whether it would be economic mess or education mess or near-social collapse mess, we got here

because we departed from moral, biblical morality.

I wanted to hear me rather than this one.

I am convinced in my own soul and spirit that when we cease to be moral people, we will cease to be blessed people.

It is a fact of history.

Examine history, and you will find that departure from God's best for humanity always, always lead to social collapse.
