Set pieces have been a hot topic this season, and many Premier League clubs seem to have taken

the, if you can't beat them, join them track.

It resulted in set piece mania and they're a central feature of our games now.

But are they ruining the spectacle?

Nearly a quarter of all Premier League goals have been scored from set pieces. If they rely on corners at times, then so what? It's a valid way to get results in games. It's the part of the game now. You can't deny it, but I do see a shift in the game. Let's talk about set pieces because they're more popular in the Premier League than at any time over the last decade. Does it disrupt the rhythm of the

game? Does it disrupt the flow of the game? Is that the kind of football you want to see? You might
