What's next for the Save Act? Now facing a perilous journey in the U.S. Senate.

Let me begin with this.

You know your way around this Congress, particularly the House and you know the power players in the Senate.

Talk me down here, Thomas.

I don't have a lot of faith in the Republican-controlled Senate that the Save America Act or its predecessor,

the Save Act, will actually come to a vote. But what's your thinking at this point?

Well, I think you have been through enough and we've all seen enough to have some skepticism

when it comes to any kind of 60 vote threshold in the Senate. I know Republicans get a lot of

blame, whether they have 53 or 52 or 51, depending on who you call a Republican, but obviously

not with that magic number of 60. So what's going to happen with a bill in the Senate, particularly the Same America Act,

which did pass the House 218 to 213 a couple days ago with all Republicans and one lone
