Hi, John. And Executive Editor Abe Greenwald. Hi, Abe. Hi, John. I want to send a shout out to our

friend Ben Shapiro, who was of course the last commentary Roasty. Every year, Commentary Magazine

has a roast of a notable figure. A friend of the magazine, Charles Krauthamers, one of our

Christie's Bill Crystal, will Joan of Goldberg, Roger Hurtog, Dick Cheney, and a couple of other

people, including my father, the first Roasty, Norman Pudhord. And we are, yes, going to have another

roast in November. I think the date is November 21st, so don't hold me to that. We will be meeting in

person at the Plaza Hotel in New York for a roast and people who have come, please prepare your

checkbooks, buy tables, do everything you can. We, I'm sure, are going to be together in person

in the community, the commentary community for this really vivid, great event. Well, the last

Roasty was Ben Shapiro and Ben Shapiro, of course, does a daily podcast and YouTube show. And I listened

to it this morning. And he really, he did a tour de force. It is a tour de force performance,

talking about what has been going on in the Derek Chauvin trial in Minneapolis, been a graduate

of the Harvard Law School. So, just so people understand it. And I was like, Ben Shapiro,

I mean, he was like a prodigy graduate of the Harvard Law School. I can't remember what age,

23, something like that. And he knows this stuff and he knows his legal stuff. And he points out

very plainly that in a criminal trial, like everybody know this from watching Law and Order.

What you need to prove to what you don't need, it is the prosecution that needs to prove

beyond a reasonable doubt the charge that has been laid out against a defendant. And reasonable
