You know, it's been said that sin always takes you further than you want to go.

It keeps you there longer than you ever planned, and it costs more than you want to pay.

That is so true.

And yet, because of the influence of sin in and around us, we still buy into lies like,

I can sin and get away with it. Or, my sin isn't really that bad. Or at the opposite

end of the spectrum, what I've done is so bad, it's beyond God's forgiveness. And of course,

there are lots more lies about sin. That's why we need the truth of God's word. And aren't you grateful for the hope that we

find in Jesus to set us free from bondage to sin? Amen. I know I am. So at our most recent

True Woman conference, Mary Cassian helped us better understand lies women believe about sin.

It was a powerful message. Mary is a wife. She's a mother,

a grandmother, she's an author, and she's a dear friend of mine and of this ministry. Now,
