Well this week we're going to that you or somebody you love may believe and actually is not true.

Now last week we covered general beauty myths, but today we're going to focus on those related specifically to plastic surgery. Now there is so much misinformation out there about plastic surgery. I can't tell you every day it seems like

I'm correcting misinformation and this misinformation these myths that are just not

true are passed along from person to person.

I even listen to the radio,

and I hear radio disc jockeys saying things

that just aren't true about plastic surgery.

So today we're gonna cover five different

major myths about plastic surgery and I'll explain to you why they're

just not true. Well the first myth we're going to tackle is that liposuction fat comes back elsewhere.

Okay so if you have liposuction fat comes back elsewhere.

Okay, so if you have liposuction,

is that fat just gonna come back into a different location?

And so what this means basically,

there is this idea that people have that if you have liposuction let's say of your

thighs that that fat that is removed will eventually come back to a different

body part like your arms and interestingly enough there was a small study that

was published several years ago and I think it was in Obesity magazine,

that did appear to show this. They did appear to show that fat that was removed from the thighs actually came back into people's arms and other body parts.

Well, this created a big stir in the plastic surgery community.
