Their goal is, it's really about how to capture the cash.

It's really about that, and they'll be able to do a chunk of it.

And as you say, they'll wrap it in a set of beliefs that have become common sense in America.

Government is bad.

Inofficial, that's a 40-year campaign to turn people away from government.

Government's inefficient. Competition is better. The free market's better.

Those sort of resonate with all of us because of what's been going on, how they've been doing that over the last number of decades.

So they wrap it in that when they're really just had their hand in the cookie jar.

So the impetus for today's show was a little unusual, because usually, if I write a really

long analysis of a topic, it's typically like my final word on that subject for the time

being. And in the newsletter a couple of weeks ago, I talked about the shortcomings that I was noticing in the

coverage and conversations around doges, shall we say, unorthodox cost-cutting measures.
