A couple of things I wanted to point out.

The first is how the Trump allies are working to undermine the January 6th committee.

The Republicans are betting that they're going to be able to take the house back in November

and shut down this committee that's investigating what is arguably the most

or one of the most, maybe second to the Civil War.

The second most egregious attack on American democracy in the history of our Republic.

The second most traitorous and treasonous act in the history of our Republic.

One that is to this day defended by hundreds of elected Republicans across the country.

And the strategy that they're using is to run out the clock.

It's very straightforward.

You know, Steve Bannon, for example, they subpoenaed him.

He said, nope, it took a couple of weeks to get that turned into a house vote to hold him in contempt.

And then it took a couple of weeks to get that to the Department of Justice to open an investigation
