Welcome to the Carl Jackson Show Podcast for this Thursday edition. Guys, I want to talk about something that I think is

there just needs to be talked about within the Republican Circle within the conservative circle. That is this

growing rivalry or what seems to be a growing rivalry, whether it's media made, whether it's by either one of the campaigns, but the

rivalry between a governor, Ron Desantis and Donald Trump. If this doesn't stop, if this isn't contained, I fear that it's going to hurt the America's chances, I will say in 2024, the GOP

chances for sure. So I'm going to talk about that next on today's edition of the Carl Jackson Show Podcast.

All right guys, welcome to the Carl Jackson Show Podcast. Listen, let's be real. If you love America, I think you like Donald Trump, and I think you like Governor

Ron Desantis. In fact, I would say like me, I think you love them both because you believe as I do that they both are true patriots and they are, listen, they're both Desantis has been a fabulous governor. Donald Trump was a fabulous president. We can both or we all will disagree on some issues. No doubt there were some things that Trump did that I didn't like or perhaps that you didn't like the same could be said about Governor Ron Desantis. But there's no doubt.

These two are the biggest stars within the Republican Party. And here's what I'm afraid might occur because I'm starting to see or hear things from conservatives even the Santas or Trump or Trump or Desantis or I hope he doesn't run our hope this and that and and it's getting me nervous because here's what I do believe I do believe that we are going to win the House in 2022.

The conservative movement is I hope that we win the Senate with some people that are constitutionalists that will actually fight back and quail the efforts of the Biden administration and then our hope is to regain the White House in 2024 with someone that has courage and conviction and political instincts like a Donald Donald J Trump has shown before and get everything that we want done in order to

shrink the size of government free the American people from the chains of big government and make America prosperous again. Make it a free society again. I mean we are too in love with big government.

Now there's two people obviously that I've mentioned that I think could do this. It could either be Trump. It could either be Desantis. But here's what I believe might.

Here's what I believe needs to happen and then I'm going to get into a couple of articles that I've that I've seen obviously I'm sure you guys have heard the news that Ron Desantis has edged Donald Trump out in a poll in New Hampshire.

That's where the I believe the first debate would be the first caucus primary caucus if I'm not mistaken Joe Rogan has come up recently as I see on my screen.

He's throwing his weight behind a governor Ron Desantis if he were to run in 2024 you know that's huge given the numbers of Joe Rogan's podcasts in his popularity it's absolutely insane and the same is true with Elon Musk of Tesla.

He too said he would support a Ron Desantis presidency or nomination from whatever in 2024.

All right so now we all know and we've all been seeing we've seen the rallies with Trump Trump is active on on true social his name is still the biggest name and politics today bar none.

No one is close polls show overwhelmingly for the most part that were he to run and decide to run and guys I think he's in all right I'll get into that in just a second that he would likely be the nominee but here's what I don't want to happen.

We've got a lot of work to do to clean up the mess that the left has left behind and and and and let's me we got to be honest about this right we got to be honest about this we have to make sure we hold a count of politicians accountable including those of our own Trump had a big heart and he allowed his big heart to be deceived if you will buy by the Fauci's other world by the Deborah Birx of the world and that put us in a precarious position.

However having said that we know that what Trump did before the lockdowns occurred before he's he slowed or stopped the economy put the economy on pause he was doing a fabulous job as president now I have my issues with spending but I will say this as far as regulations were concerned as far as border security was concerned as far as jobs were concerned the guy was the bomb dot com and I don't think you can deny that he was a fabulous president it was painful for all of us.

Knowing perhaps what was coming not knowing the severity of the Biden administration and how left wing in radical they would be exactly but it was painful watching Trump you guys may remember remember he and Melania taking off on that helicopter that last helicopter ride from the air from the White House of lead to to Andrews Air Force base if I recall correctly and man I was just I was I was Terry it hurt I'm not I'm not going to lie I felt so sorry for it.

For not just president Donald Trump and Melania and how they had been treated so badly and my line after all they had done for the country I felt bad for America I felt bad for America because I think we had to at the time that we had just lost a great president so it was a it was a painful day now given that situation in the pain that we felt there that I felt I'm sure you felt as well.

One of the people that emerged from the rubble from the dust of all that chaos has been governor on to Santa's who has handled the the lockdown orders the the covid extremism is if you will he's handled it beautifully the guy has been he's been trump like in the way that he's handled things but one advantage I think that he does have over Trump and I'll tell you an advantage I think Trump has over to Santa's I think that the Santa's tends to be a better communicate.
