Arabella would never want for anything again.

Word of the maiden and her riches travelled far and wide.

Many suitors came to woo her, but Arabella did not like any one of them.

Days passed, then months,

and before she knew it, a year had gone by.

Every afternoon, Arabella would take a book from the library and read it under the silver maple tree by the river.

It was on one of these days that when she arrived, Arabella saw a young man and his horse drinking from the river.

She noticed that the horse had a royal crest on its saddle.

He must be a prince, she thought.

They sipped the cool water without noticing her.
