A few of them we know, but most, we never go on to find out just what that true story is.

The 2007 movie, Borderland,

starts off immediately with a detective that is hunting the leader of a cult and yet finds himself being

forced to witness his partner being horrifically tortured and murdered by that cult.

Then a year later, three college friends, Henry, Ed, and Phil decide to take a road trip from Galveston, Texas down into Mexico.
