Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the gospel truth.

Today I'm continuing a teaching that I've entitled

the true nature of God. We're talking about what is God really like.

I tell you, this is so foundational, and I've said this a number of times, but this teaching that I have,

I've got a book on this entitled The True Nature of God. This is like elementary stuff. This is

stuff that every single Christian needs to know. And the sad fact is very few people have a clear

understanding of the true nature and character of God.

And because of that, Satan can malign the integrity of God. Satan can say, oh, sure, God has power

to heal you, to deliver you, set you free or whatever, but he wouldn't do it because you're so bad that is not the way

that God is that's a mischaracterization of who God is and the point that I've been making on

yesterday's program is that some of these misconceptions about the nature of God come from the Bible

now please don't misunderstand what I'm saying.

I believe in the Bible 1,000 percent, every single word of it.

I am not against Scripture, but Scripture has been twisted and misused.

You know, we are trying to build and do things here at our Carous Bible College

campus in Woodland Park. And I think that the majority of the people in the community like

what we're doing, the town was actually dying before we came, and now it's revived. It's booming.

But there are what we call the gang of eight, about eight,

ten people that are very vocal that just trash me and say things. And they take things that I say
