Welcome to our Friday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. This is my fourth and final week of teaching on the true nature of God.

And I tell you, this has been a powerful series I've said

this a number of times during this teaching but this is something that the Lord

taught me probably 40 years ago and it has just become a foundation of some of

the great revelation that God has given me if you don't understand the difference between the way God

dealt with people under the old covenant and the new covenant, then you're going to get a wrong

impression of God and it's going to affect the way things work in your life. It says in Galatians

5, verse 6, that faith works by love. God is love 1 John chapter 4 verses 8 and 16

and if you don't understand that if you see the wrath and the punishment of God under the old

covenant and you think that that's the way that he really is and that sometimes he might operate in

love but that's what he has.

It's not who he is. Well, then that's going to affect you, and it's going to affect your faith,

because faith works by love. But when you understand that God has always been love and that he was

gracious unto Adam and Eve when they first sin, And there was 2,000 years that God didn't vent his wrath on the human race, and he only

brought the law and his revelation of wrath because men were just going so out of control.

He had to do something to restrain the amount of sin that

was going on in the earth once you understand all of these things you can see that

the true nature of God has always been love and yes he's just and holy and there
