In my 20s there was a persistent anxiety, a terrible ache inside that bordered on a lot of suicidal

feelings.

I was so glad to have a freaking job.

Playing in a make-up life, make-up life.

A lot of the Donald O'Connor part in Singing in the Rain at the Pioneer Theatre Company.

It's a job.

It's like a real job.

I was 28 years old.
