Although he was a mere child when these events actually took place, you would think that today's

0:04.9

guest was actually at the trial of the Chicago 7.

Howdy, I'm Jeff Goldsmith, and this is the Q&A.

0:12.0

My agenda is simple.

0:13.4

Each week, I plan to bring you in-depth insights into the creative process of storytelling.

Folks, today's guest, Mr. Aaron Sorkin is Oscar nominated for his screenplay for the

0:23.9

trial of the Chicago 7, and I was quite pleased to have him back in the series in the

1:21.4

of a problem this was not only back then, but still is today. Of course, it was fantastic to talk to Sorkin about the mechanics

1:29.9

of a script and what went into bringing it to life on the screen. So I know you'll dig this

1:36.1

episode. And you know, speaking of things to dig, Sorkin is going to be back in the screening

1:40.6

series again for the Oscar screenwriting nominees panel. That's right, we have

1:44.9

nine out of the 10 films that were nominated for Oscars for screenwriting that will be represented
