Yeah, first of all, hello, thank you for having me.

I appreciate you saying that.

I sort of relaunched, I guess, my sub-stack toward the end of last season when 538 shut down its

sports vertical because I had nowhere left to write about basketball. I was doing almost all of my

NBA writing there because as they sort of hemorrhaged staffers over the last couple of years or

so I had basically been like the longest tenured and most frequent basketball writer there

so I wound up doing a lot of the stuff that had typically fallen to guys like Chris Herring before me. So when that shut down, I didn't have anywhere left.

And I sort of relaunched last night in basketball,

which is my sub-stack.

And I tend to focus mostly not exclusively but

mostly on what actually happens on the court. What what what? What?

what? Yeah I know it, it's crazy, but you know, so much of basketball discussion is about like pretty much everything else.
