I'm Elvis Mitchell. It's The Treat from legendary film producer Jerry Brockheimer.

I'm Jerry Brookheimer and this is The Treat.

I played hockey when I was a little kid poorly and started playing again when I got to California. And I always dreamt about being part of professional sports.

And so I met an individual named Harry Sloan.

And Harry is a big financial wizard.

And we started this quest to try to buy a hockey team or develop a hockey team and

an NHL team.

And he eventually introduced me to a man named David Bonderman, was another financial wizard.

He's like the Michael Jordan of finances.

He stumbled around and tried to buy a number of teams,

but we eventually, through Tim Lewicki,

we figured out a way to take the key arena in Seattle

and turn it into a brand new arena

and convinced the city and then the NHL to build the arena

and then give us an expansion team.

We're in our second season. It's called the Seattle Cracken.

And I'm so thrilled that actually we're starting to win this season, which is nice.

But it was always a dream to be a part of a sports franchise, and now I'm a minority owner of the Seattle Cracken.

We had a website that the fans put down their favorite names, and that's the one that kind of won the lottery, and that's how we ended up with the Cracken.

Music won the lottery and that's how we ended up with the cracking. It's not as stressful as the movie business or the television business, so I get great
