And there's a story that I've been wanting to share with you guys for a while, but I didn't feel ready. And you know me now when things

happen to me in dating, I like to give it some room, definitely like at least a year before I

talk about it just because that's how I prefer. And I just think for privacy sake and all that.

And also sometimes, like, it takes me that long to process and learn the lesson. But I do think it's going to be super helpful in the context of the trap all that. And also sometimes like it takes me that long to process and learn the

girl. So what do I mean when I say the trap of the chill girl? How can I sum this up? Basically,

the trap of the chill girl is pretending you don't want what you want or pretending that you don't know what you want

and immediately i think of so many instances where you know you guys will call and be like i'm afraid

to ask for like to like how can i ask him what are we oh, well, I don't really know how I feel like I want

to know how he feels. And you also might be thinking, well, this is at odds with box theory,

because tanks you say box theory is all about, you know, just acting how you want to act. And the rest

is, we'll take care of itself. And I think that the chill girl trap mainly happens when you are in the hookup box or hookup box denial.

Because, again, I want to state very clearly that if a guy wants to date you, he is going to date you and he will probably do it soon.

Have you ever heard of anyone being like, yeah, like we were casual for 14 months and then finally he dated me? No, that's why we have box theory. And that's why it's so important not to get caught in the chill girl trap. And this is a trap that I fell into so much in my 20s. And I'm so embarrassed to say that I actually fell into it again last year, but I'll explain why.

Also, I was watching this movie on the plane the other day called Oh High, and I highly recommend

this movie. It's hilarious. It's kind of like a dark comedy. And without giving anything away,

it's about this couple. And it's about this girl named Iris and this guy she's dating and

they're not like exclusive. They go on like a weekend away together and he's being so amazing to her.

He is, he's like basically he's it seems dreamy. Like the you know again this isn't giving anything away but like

he's saying all the right things they have amazing sex and then it comes out like on the first night

he's like well i don't i don't want anything serious he's like and she's like what and basically
