Hello my friends. It is good to be back with you on the morning mindset. I've been traveling

a little bit recently and it's great to be back in my home studio. I am excited today

to help us together. Get our minds aligned with the truth of God. Today we'll be looking

at the last section of Proverbs 23 and we're going to be talking about the trap of alcohol.

Now what you didn't know, I am not one who says you cannot drink alcohol at all and be

a good Christian. It is possible to have a beer now and then it's possible to have a

class of wine now and then. But the Bible does speak realistically about the tiktations

and the difficulties that can come from one who is given too much drink. As the Bible

says, we're going to look at that in just a moment. I want to remind you first that

All right, let's look together at Proverbs chapter 23 verses 29 through 35. Now remember

Solomon is writing to counsel his own son about the things he's going to experience

in life and this section is a caution from an experienced dad to his son about the dangers

that can come from being enticed and seduced into an abuse of alcohol. Let's read what

he says. He says who has woe, who has sorrow, who has strife, who has complaining, who has

wounds without cause, who has redness of eyes, those who carry long over wine, those who
