Gahey, humans.

Welcome to the safe space of dangerous ideas,

and this is a doozy of a dangerous conversation.

I'm going to get a lot of hate for even talking to someone like this,

because their stories aren't supposed to be heard.

But I do think it's important just to hear the actual experiences of people who are

collateral damage in our big, fancy, beautiful, fabulous culture wars.

And in a week like this, when if you live in Sydney,

you're only just coming down from a two or three week extravaganza of pride in everything

that the LGBTQIA plus community has achieved,

there has been not a whisper of dissent from just the sheer

relentless fabulousness of it all, the sequins, the feather bowers, the waxed, oiled,

chests and pectoral muscles of drag queens,

sitting astride gigantic inflatable penises.

It's been marvellous, I got to tell you.

And I kicked the whole extravaganza off on ABC,

the national broadcaster,

three weekends ago at Fair Day,

which is the family-friendly LGBTQIA plus event.

Come one, come all.
