I mean, it's a steady flow of American investment, American money.

It works for a lot of the political and economic elites of Europe to keep this relationship going.

and the Europeans take, and they don't give a very, very much in return.

And this conflict between the United States and Iran has acted

as a further catalyst for this, because the Europeans fundamentally, deep down, don't care

about Iran, at least not in the way that the US does. They don't, for them,

Iran is not a threat. It's not a country that's going to invade Europe. It's not a part of Europe.
