While returning to her apartment after running errands,

28-year-old government employee Keneke Powell

is shot to death inside the building's hallway.

In the preceding days, Keneke claimed

that separate men impersonating an FBI agent

and a delivery man had knocked on her apartment door,

but she refused to let them inside.

Two and a half months later, Sean Nicholas Green,

a 31-year-old government employee from the same county

is shot to death by a mass gunman

while parked in traffic.

Due to the top secret nature of their jobs,

their speculation that both murders might be connected,

but the identities of the killers

and the motive for these crimes remain unknown.

After that, the trail went cold.
