20-year-old Amanda Tussing leaves her fiance's apartment

to drive home to her parents' house, but never arrives.

Her abandoned car is soon discovered by the side of the highway,

but Amanda is nowhere to be found.

Days later, Amanda's body is found in a waterlogged ditch

over 12 miles away.

But there are no signs of sexual assault

and the exact cause of death cannot be determined.

One theory is that Amanda may have been pulled over

and abducted by someone in personiting a police officer.

But the identity of her killer and the motive

for this crime remain unknown.
