The Happy New Year, everyone, and welcome to our first Trail Went Cold episode of 2025. I'm your host

Robin Werder, and yes, it's that time again, as our podcast is dropping our six special update

episode. I've already said this a million times, but when I originally started the Trail Went Cold

back in 2016, I thought

it would be cool if one or two of the cases we featured on the podcast wound up being solved,

but I never dreamed this would happen so often that we'd eventually have enough material to

release six update episodes like this. Now, 2024 started off with such a bang when it came to cold case resolutions

that we actually released an update episode back in March, and while I wondered if there would be

enough material to release a second update episode at the end of the year, there have been

quite a few major breakthroughs in some cold cases these past nine months.

So before we get started, I should mention that this episode will exclusively focus on updates, which have taken place since March of 2024. So if you'd like to learn about the cases

that have been resolved before then, I'd recommend going back and listening to our previous

updates on episodes number 155, 257, 310, 359, and 369.

I should also mention that episode number 369 featured updates that happened in the cases of Donna Lass, Dexter Stephanic, Byron Carr, and Mary Jane Van Gilder,

so to avoid repeating myself, I will not be discussing them here,
