Juno County, Wisconsin.

A fire breaks out at the residence of four-year-old Ricky Gene Bryant, nicknamed Genie, which

burns her family's house to the ground.

While Genie's remains cannot be found in the rubble, the authorities conclude that she

died in the fire.

As the years go by, Genie's siblings are bothered by a number of suspicious discrepancies,

including the presence of an unidentified blonde woman who stopped by the house while the

fire was taking place.

They begin to believe that their mother and grandmother orchestrated Genie's disappearance,

and she might still be alive somewhere.

But even though they convinced the authorities to open a new investigation, there are no

conclusive answers about what happened.

holiday-themed mystery, the 1949 disappearance of four-year-old Ricky Gene Bryant.

It's always been a tradition for our podcast to spend the month of December featuring mysteries
