sleuths in recent years. Dorothy Forstine was a housewife and mother from Philadelphia who was

married to a local magistrate named Jules Forstine that after returning home late one night,

Jules discovered that two of his children were alone and seemed terrified. Sure enough,

Jules' nine-year-old daughter Marcy would soon share a shocking story about having witnessed

an unidentified man abduct Dorothy from the residence, and while the authorities were initially

skeptical about this, a psychiatrist who interviewed Marcy believed she was likely telling the truth.
