Hello everyone and welcome to the newest episode of the Trail Went Cold.

I am your host Robin Warder and at long last we are going to deliver part 2 of a story

we started 2 weeks ago.

The controversial conviction of Tommy Zeigler, who has spent the last 40 years on death row

for 4 murders.

Like I said last week, this case is so convoluted that I just had to turn it into a two part

episode, but now I have finally returned to provide you with the conclusion.

I apologize for leaving you folks hanging in suspense for so long as we were originally

supposed to release this episode last week, but trust me, there is a very, very good

reason for the delay.

After the release of part 1, I got in touch with private investigator Lynn Marie Cardi,

who has worked with Tommy Zeigler's defense team for the past 5 and a half years and

I should mention she has done all her work on the case, Pro Bono.

The primary source for most of the material I presented in part 1 was Fatal Flaw, an amazingly

comprehensive book about the case written by Philip Finch.

However, that book was published way back in 1992 and a lot of new developments have

occurred since then.

Investigator Cardi has uncovered a plethora of new information within the last few years

which is available for viewing at our website, Tommy Zeigler's Innocent.com.

It is the original source of most of the material on this episode, and investigator Cardi

has been extraordinarily helpful with supplying me with info and helping me correct some errors
